Tiny Quilt #22

22/100

I’m returning to improv piecing without a ruler. I assembled the strip of fabric and then cut it into panels. This TQ has cotton muslin on the back, with the technique of sewing all three layers around the edge, and then turning it right side out and finishing with a ladder stitch along one edge.

Tiny Quilt #22
Dimensions: 6” square
Influenced by improv piecing and scraps from another project. I enjoy these dusky purple and canvas colours together. Most of these fabrics are cotton-linen blends - enjoyable textures.

New skills:
Continuing to develop my improv skills, and to fully accept what happens when I don’t plan.
