This is my first flying geese quilt block! I tinkered with the direction of the lines in the background fabric so they would show lots of movement as the air / sky. If I was doing this TQ again, I would give the geese more space with another column of sky on either side. I’d like to continue experimenting with these shapes.

Influenced by the traditional flying geese pattern - relevant at this time of year! I love working with these denim indigo fabrics, and the linen-cotton blend for the background texture.
