This was an improv process… I started with many 3 ½” squares and then made half-square triangles and joined them together in quarters. I like how these colours and patterns came together. The seams at the corners are thick in this design with 8 pieces meeting up there, but still workable. I did the hand-sewing for the binding on the airplane from Edmonton to Ottawa… This was my first experience of public sewing 👀
